Better Energy Homeowner Grants

Better Energy Homes is a Government programme which gives fixed cash grants for heating system upgrades and insulation, helping to make your home more comfortable and cheaper to run. It is available to all owners of homes built before 2006.

The SEAI  are offering higher grants and cash bonuses if you carry out 3 or 4 measures. The grants are also open to previous applicants who wish to get additional works done.

All applicants must carry out a Building Energy Rating (BER) on completion of works. A BER grant is only payable once as part of a works grant.
